The 80s was a decade of fashion and style. Everyone had big hair, outrageous get ups with all the colors of the rainbow in one outfit. But I always loved the adidas sneakers back then. It’s a good thing Adidas released the adidas Originals Campus 80s. This sweet pair is almost like the same kind of shoe that I bought when I was in grade school. Most of the shoe is covered in suede with a bit of other textile in the top and middle part. There is a hint of snakeskin at the heel panel and the three stripes for added variety. You can get them in black or brown but the Japanese release had other colourways to choose from.
If you are a fan of the Bulls, you might think that wearing a couple of Jordans would show your support for the Chicago based team. But what if you were born in the Derrick Rose era? Fear not, my cattle friends. The adidas Phantom II Chicago will represent you well on the Bull’s arena. The whole shoe is covered in Bulls red leather. There are a couple of fabric matches on the toe and midfoot level. There are two small white accents that appear on the side that matches with the white Adidas leaf logo. To top it all off, the Chicago Bulls logo is brightly stitched on the tongue. Now you can show off your Bull heart no matter what era you were born in.
Adidas is set to release the Adidas Originals Highrise on spring 2010, but there are reports that they are already hitting the stores as early as now. The Adidas Highrise has premium leather enhanced by snakeskin from the toeguard to the laceholes then to the ankle of the shoe. It also features a snakeskin strap on the ankles. The 3 Stripes is perforated in the mid panel which matches the one on the Velcro strap. The Adidas Logo and Trefoil is also found on the ankle and the tongue. Aside from its awesome design, it is surprisingly comfortable as well. After a test wear, it feels loose which is unheard of with highrise sneakers. You can pre order or check your local adidas Originals store if it is already available.
Inspired by the Copa Mundial, Dennis Busenitz’s favorite soccer team, the adidas Skateboarding Busenitz Pro is the way to go if you have the Skater heart but not the skater skill. A low profile outsole provides you with the maximum board feel. The black one comes with white stripes with a yellow trim in the ankles. Other styles come in University Red and Metallic Gold. With Busenitz stitched at the side, the world would know that you can rip it like the star, even though you can’t. It also comes with a customizable tongue for added flare, lace protection, Geofit collar lining, and a sock liner.
Love these very dainty designs of Adidas Originals Fafi collection. They’re edgy and contemporary yet still very feminine. It’s ultra modern with the Fafi doodles on the side panels and insoles. Fafi’s signature is super-imposed on the tongue labels which personally, I think its caps the kicks with the perfect women’s stamp.

Now they’re also closing 2009 with a bang through the release of the Fafi artist collection with Adidas Originals. This one highlights the apparel side more and yet a couple of footwear releases. You can grab these babies at select Adidas Originals retailers.

The mesh upper, reinforced with thin aerofoil inspired metallic printed foot support cages extending all throughout. This edition use the combination of Adidas technologies, Climacool and adiPRENE which prevents heat and moisture build-up and provides protection on your heels from repetitive impact with its superior cushioning material. It comes in solid colorway that highlights the smooth line of its silhouette. The adidas Oscillate comes in a silver/yellow colorway. Both the Adids Oscillate and Regulate sports a predominantly blue upper with a white sole. You can expect comfort, protection and stability from these babies and they’re coming out by March, 2010.
